Camelback Golf Club (Scottsdale)

I thought that someone had finally taken my best idea and made it a reality. A strip club and golf course combined would make for the most glorious 4 hours of my life. Unfortunately I misread the name as Cameltoe Cuntry Club. You can imagine the disappointment I was in for after driving 6 hours to Scottsdale. All was not lost, though as there was still some damn good golf to play.Camelback has two distinctly different par 72 courses. Indian Bend is a long out and back American links course. Padre, the second course, is shorter but plays narrower than Indian Bend. Padre is also kept in much better shape than Indian. Neither course was overly impressive. The saving grace was that Camelback has a GPS system that takes all of the guesswork out of the course. Each cart has a 10″ lcd screen that displays everything you would ever want to know on the course. It even gives live sports updates. By far, Camelback gets the award for best use of technology on a course. Now… If they could only find a way to work some cameltoe in somewhere.
Camelback is like the new Craft Beer series from Miller. Excitement until you read the label. Disappointment sets in until you take the first sip which impresses you more than you expected.
